Seattle Seahawks Secure Postseason Spot with Thrilling Extra Time Victory over Rams.

Game-winning play in overtime

Receiver Saubert executed the decisive two-point conversion for Seattle.

The Seattle Seahawks engineered a remarkable comeback to defeat the Rams in overtime, clinching their place in the NFL play-offs.

Rallying from a sixteen-point deficit in the fourth quarter, the Seahawks triumphed by a single point at home, notching their fifth straight victory.

While the Los Angeles had become the first to earn a post-season berth earlier on Sunday, the Seattle team secured their place to the postseason after a two-year absence.

With this result, the Seattle now lead their division's standings with a 12-3 mark, supplanting the Los Angeles, who dropped to the number five playoff position with an 11-4 standing.

Game Highlights

Quarterback Darnold threw two picks but regrouped to deliver two touchdown passes, culminating in the second score to wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba in overtime.

The Rams held a six-point lead at half-time before Walker broke free for a 55-yard touchdown run for Seattle.

Los Angeles defensive back Josh Wallace then returned Darnold's first interception for 56 yards, leading to a short touchdown by Corum on the next play.

In the final stanza, a scoring pass from Matthew Stafford to Nacua extended the Rams' lead to sixteen points, but Rashid Shaheed ignited Seattle's hope with a 58-yard punt return.

Darnold then connected with Barner in the endzone, and a successful conversion forced the game into overtime.

Although Nacua raced in for his second touchdown in OT, Smith-Njigba answered in kind to set up the game-winning conversion.
